Spring Bibury engagement photoshoot
We were so pleased when the lovely Faye and Chris got in touch about coming to the Cotswolds for an engagement photoshoot ahead of their wedding this year. We’re so fortunate to live in this part of the country, and are spoilt for beautiful locations to take our couples to. We chose the historic village of Bibury – which is actually one of the most photographed areas in the Cotswolds, and it’s easy to see why! The famous National Trust owned Arlington Row (which even featured in Bridget Jones’s Diary), with its picturesque cottages and trickling stream, made for the perfect backdrop for Faye and Chris’s pre wedding photographs. A big thank you to Faye and Chris for meeting us bright and early so we could beat the crowds and for being an absolute delight to photograph!
After spending time in Bibury, we headed over to one of our favourite boutique hotels – Barnsley House – where we got some more beautiful images of this super photogenic couple! Barnsley House in the spring is gorgeous, with the colourful gardens blooming with delicate flowers for the first time this year. We finished up with a cup of tea and some wedding chat – a perfect Sunday! Thank you so much for making the trip to the Cotswolds Faye and Chris and we can’t wait to see you in the summer for your big day at Ashfield House. And not forgetting a big thank you to the wonderfully talented Jodie at Acacia for making this incredible spring bouquet!
